"That's not what I meant at all," Castiel protests, frowning up even as he tugs at the string on Dean's pajama bottoms. "I had a very nice birthday. What I mean is your birthday is a day in which you are forced to let me celebrate you and spoil you. The entire day is about you and you have to endure that."
He shuffles up a little, hips pressing into Dean's as he stares down at his still sleepy face. "You ought to have had 38 of them like that. I am making up for lost time. And it makes me happy to do so."
