This is pretty much how Dean expected things to go, but still, he feels a vein ticking in his forehead, teeth clenched tight enough that it's a wonder he hasn't yet heard a crack.
"Then how about we see where we overlap," he says on an exhausted sigh. He has no illusions about them seeing eye to eye on much, and Dean's too damn tired to tiptoe around anyone's ego. "Me, I'm not down with any plan that ends with him dead or driven permanently out of his mind. If we can't all get on board with that, then he and I can go ahead and stop wasting anyone's time."
