Yukio's brow raises briefly. While he's fully aware that Dean has helped him out on more than one occasion, and continues to be someone that Yukio looks up to, having it expressed so starkly that he's being looked after feels strange. Almost like he's lost some agency. Aside from a brief pause, Yukio's expression doesn't betray him, and he smiles.

"I know that Rin is very grateful to have people such as Dean and yourself in his life. Dean in particular is... quite a father figure to Rin," Yukio concedes with a nod. "And I appreciate having your support. We're working hard to continue training, so that we can also be of use to either of you, should the need arise."
